The multifunctional rescue tugboat (MSS) of the MPSV12 project is a shallow-seated vessel with an Arctic ice class Arc 5, an inclined stem, with a two-tiered elongated tank superstructure, an engine room in the middle part, a diesel power plant, with two adjustable propellers. two forward thrusters and one aft thruster.
Main dimensions: maximum length 79.85 m; length between perpendiculars 73.39 m; overall width (without stop beam) 17.36 m; width 16.80 m; side height 6.70 m.
The MPSV12 MCC is designed to perform the following tasks: patrolling, rescue duty in areas of navigation, fishing, offshore oil and gas fields in accordance with the class; search and assistance to ships in distress; emergencyrescue, ship repair and diving operations at depths up to 60 m, as well as underwater technical work with underwater welding and cutting; towing emergency vessels and facilities to a place of refuge, as well as performing sea towing of vessels, floating facilities and structures in ice and on clean water; extinguishing fuel burning on water, eliminating emergency spills oil and petroleum products (OSR);search and inspection of underwater potentially dangerous objects; search, rescue, evacuation and accommodation of people, medical assistance; assistance in extinguishing fires on floating and onshore facilities; delivery of general and bulk cargoes; delivery of personnel;management of a working-class TNGA with a diving depth of up to 3000 m.
