In January 2025, the cargo turnover of Russian seaports decreased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 71.6 million tons. This was announced by the Association of Commercial Seaports (ASOP) on February 12.
Transshipment of dry cargo increased by 3.7% and amounted to 34.2 million tons, while bulk cargo decreased by 6.1% and amounted to 37.3 million tons.
The cargo turnover of seaports in different basins of the country showed different dynamics: a positive result in the Far Eastern basin and a negative result in the Caspian basin.
