According to the ACC of the Russian Federation, the net financial result of Russian fishing organizations in 2024 amounted to 64.9 billion rubles, which is 30.9% less than in 2023. This deterioration is due to sanctions, an increase in the key interest rate and an increase in labor costs.

There are fewer profitable organizations in the fishing industry, so government support, including preferential loans and subsidies, is becoming even more important for them.
