Onega Shipyard Launches Project 02780 Pilot-Mechanic Boat "Yuriy Romanchenko"

On June 10, 2016, Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant (Onega SSZ, Karelia) held a ceremony to launch a new vessel for FSUE «Rosmorport» — the Project 02780M pilot-mechanic boat «Yuriy Romanchenko».
The boat will operate under the Taganrog Branch of the Azov Basin Branch of FSUE «Rosmorport».
The vessel is designed to deploy and maintain floating navigation aids (buoys, beacons) in seaport approaches and waters. «Yuriy Romanchenko» will transport and service medium-sized sea buoys with anchor systems, as well as inspect and maintain navigation aids.
