PJSC Krasnoye Sormovo Plant (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) transferred the second TSHD 1000 dredger named Kronshlot to FSUE Rosmorport.
The dredger was launched in early June of this year. In three months, it passed mooring and sea trials, after which it was sent to the destination port of St. Petersburg for transfer to the customer.
The transfer certificate was signed on August 31, 2016.
We remind you that Krasnoye Sormovo Plant and Rosmorport signed a contract for the construction and delivery of three TSHD 1000 project dredgers in April 2014. The lead vessel, Sommers, was launched in January 2016. The third dredger, Kadosh, is currently under construction. According to the contract, all dredgers of this project must be transferred to Rosmorport this year. According to the general director of the shipbuilding enterprise Nikolay Zharkov, the plant will fully fulfill its obligations for the construction of dredgers.

The TSHD 1000 project vessels are capable of developing soil at a depth of up to 20 m and operating at water temperatures from -2°C to +20°C.

The project was completed by Damen Shipyard Gorinchem, the working design documentation was developed by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (part of the MNP Group).
The vessels are ideally suited for operating conditions in the waters and approaches to Russian sea ports. Versatility combined with high productivity are the main advantages of the TSHD 1000 dredgers.
