New pilot boats from Onega Shipyard

On September 15, 2016, the acceptance committee of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport accepted the ice-strengthened pilot boat Yuri Romanchenko of Project 02780M (construction No. 51).

As reported, the construction, testing and delivery of the boat of Project 02780M Yuri Romanchenko were carried out under the technical supervision of inspectors of the Petrozavodsk section of the inspection of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping of the Baltic Basin.

This is the second boat built according to Project 02780M at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant by order of FSUE Rosmorport.

Ice-class pilot boat Krutoyar of Project 02780M in accordance with the order of FSUE Rosmorport from 01.09.2016 No. 420 transferred to the management of the North-West Basin Branch.

The boat became the seventh navigation support vessel currently operated by the North-West Basin Branch in Russian seaports in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, and the 55th vessel in the entire fleet of the branch.

The vessel arrived at the seaport Big Port of St. Petersburg on August 26, 2016 after successful sea trials and is currently preparing for the transition to the seaports of Vyborg and Vysotsk, where it will begin its work shift.
