Kerch s "Frigate" launched a new ferry

The Kerch shipyard “Fregat” launched a new car-passenger ferry of Project 3221 for “Vostok Transgroup” LLC. The vessel was named “Nina Malkova”.

 The vessel's carrying capacity is 80 tons, the ferry is designed for 4 road trains or 16 cars.

For the construction of the ferry, the Russian National Commercial Bank provided “Vostok Transgroup” LLC with a loan in the amount of 64 million rubles.

At the ceremonial launching of the vessel, the director of the shipyard Sergey Posokhov noted that despite the sanctions, the Fregat is currently busy with work. Despite the sanctions, the plant has plenty of work. This Kerch enterprise is the only one in Crimea that builds complete vessels. They are launched fully equipped. The team can board the vessel and start working without a second's delay. Today, 400 people work on the Fregat, and the average salary here exceeds the average in the Republic of Crimea.
