On the dredging vessel Kadosh moored in Tuapse, built by order of FSUE Rosmorport, the national flag was raised today, December 2. The ceremony took place during a video broadcast at the Transport of Russia 2016 exhibition.
Dredger Kadosh is the third vessel of the TSHD 1000 project, built at the Krasnoe Sormovo plant (Nizhny Novgorod).
Krasnoe Sormovo and Rosmorport signed a contract for the construction and delivery of three dredging vessels of the TSHD 1000 project in April 2014.
On July 23, the lead ship Sommers began work at the Makhachkala seaport. The day before, the vessel received a national award in the "Best Innovative Solution in the field of transport technology" nomination.
In September of this year, the second vessel of the Kronshlot project was handed over to the customer.
The project was carried out by Damen Shipyard Gorinchem, working design documentation by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (part of the MNP Group).
The vessels of the TSHD 1000 project are capable of mining soil at depths up to 20 m and operating at water temperatures from -2°C to +20°C.
The vessel is equipped with the necessary high-performance dredging equipment appropriate to the climatic conditions of the region of its operation.
