Construction of fishing vessels resumes in Kaliningrad Region

Ushakovskiye Verfi LLC has begun building small fishing boats to order from Kaliningrad fishermen. Three coastal fishing vessels are already operating in the fishery, construction of another is being completed, and two others are under construction.

Initially, the company specialized in private yachts and passenger ships. With the growing demand from fishermen for fleet renewal, the company introduced coastal fishing vessels into production and is currently fulfilling several orders.

The region has available capacity for building vessels for the fishing fleet. both large-tonnage and small. In particular, the Baltic shipyard "Yantar" began building multifunctional trawlers for ocean fishing for Kamchatka fishermen. In the region, eight small fishing trawlers have already been modernized for tankers, construction of fishing boats has begun at the "Ushakovskiye Verfy", a large-scale project for deep modernization is being implemented by a group of companies-investors of the Unified Marine Complex in Svetly, where a fishing vessel is essentially being rebuilt.
