On January 11, 2017, the state commission signed the acceptance certificate for the second boom-laying boat of the A-40-2B-YAR project, "Kapitan Okhodov", in the port of destination of Korsakov.
The boat was built by shipbuilders of PAO "Yaroslavl Shipyard" (management company of JSC "Finsudprom") in accordance with the state contract of October 2014, providing for the construction of a series of 6 boom-laying boats within the framework of the event "Construction of rescue boom-laying boats" of the subprogram "Sea Transport" Federal Target Program "Development of the Transport System of Russia (2010-2020)" for the Federal Budgetary Institution "Maritime Rescue Service of Rosmorrechflot".Boom-laying boats are built to the class KM Iсe2 R3 RSN Aut 3 oil recovery ship (>60°) of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and are designed for emergency rescue operations and the following operations:
