The products of Uralskaya Kuznitsa (PAO Uralkuz, part of the Mechel Group) have successfully passed the acceptance test of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The Federal Inspection Commission issued certificates of conformity for stampings made of heat-resistant corrosion-resistant stainless steel intended for marine power plants of one of the engine-building plants.
The conformity of the stampings with the requirements of the Technical Regulations on the safety of marine transport facilities was confirmed by engineers-inspectors of the Federal Autonomous Institution Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Uralskaya Kuznitsa — traditional supplier of products for marine shipbuilding. The company produces crankshafts, covers and connecting rods, which are used in the manufacture of marine engines.
All components for sea vessels must undergo federal acceptance, since the safety of navigation directly depends on their quality. Only certified companies can supply such products. "Uralskaya Kuznitsa" received a certificate of official manufacturer of products for the construction of sea vessels in 2015 for a period of five years. Every year, experts from the "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" conduct an inspection of the enterprise to confirm the current certificate: they inspect the technological process of manufacturing products, measurements and tests, the level of professional training and qualifications of personnel, and the quality management system.
