Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard Lays Down Chemical Tanker of Project RST27M

On January 25, the keel of a chemical tanker of the RST27M project (building No. 02022) was laid at the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard.

The tanker was laid down under a new recently concluded contract with the BF Tanker company for the construction of 5 such vessels.

Thus, in 2017, it is planned to build and deliver to the customer three chemical tankers of the RST27M project. Another 2 vessels will be delivered in the first half of 2018.

Project RST27M chemical tankers are designed to transport oil and oil products, as well as hazardous liquid substances in bulk. Three types of cargo can be transported in one voyage.

Project RST27M is a self-propelled single-deck tanker with six cargo tanks, two main engines, two rudder propellers (fixed-pitch propellers), mixed "river/sea" navigation with a deadweight of about 5,337/7,875 tons (river/sea) of the "Volga-Don max" class. Vessel length - 140.8 m; width - 16.9 m; estimated draft 3.6 m in the river/4.6 m in the sea. Vessel class: KM Ice1 1 R2 AUT1-ICS OMBO VCS ECO-S Oil tanker/Chemical tanker type 2 (ESP).

The lead ship of the RST27 project, VF Tanker 1 (construction No. 02001), was laid down on 30.08.11. The launch took place on 17.02.12. Commissioned on 05.05.12.

The second vessel, VF Tanker — 2 (construction No. 02002), was laid down on 15.11.11. Launched on 14.04.12. Commissioned on 23.05.12.

The third vessel, VF Tanker — 3 (construction No. 02003), was laid down on 03.10.11. Launched on 17.03.12. Commissioned on 17.05.12.

The fourth vessel, VF Tanker — 4 (construction No. 02004), was laid down on 20.12.11. She was launched on 18.05.12. Commissioned on 09.06.12.

The fifth vessel, VF Tanker — 5 (construction No. 02005), was laid down on 15.12.11. She was launched on 15.06.12. Commissioned on 10.07.12.

The sixth vessel, VF Tanker — 6 (construction No. 02006), was laid down on 28.02.12. She was launched on 12.07.12. Commissioned on 20.08.12.

The seventh vessel, VF Tanker — 7 (construction No. 02007), was laid down on 30.03.12. She was launched on 16.08.12. Commissioned on 17.09.12.

The eighth vessel, VF Tanker — 8 (construction No. 02008), was laid down on 30.04.12. She was launched on 28.09.12. Commissioned on 12.10.12.

The ninth vessel, VF Tanker — 9 (construction No. 02009), was laid down on 08.06.12. She was launched on 19.10.12. Commissioned on 29.10.12.

The tenth vessel, "Konstruktor Zhivotovsky" (construction No. 02010), was laid down on 31.07.12. Launch took place on 23.04.13. Commissioned on 15.05.13.

The eleventh vessel, "Valentin Gruzdev" (construction No. 02011), was laid down on 27.09.12. Launch took place on 17.05.13. Commissioned on 28.03.14.

The twelfth vessel, "Dmitry Pokrovsky" (construction No. 02012) was laid down on 31.10.12. Launch took place on 28.05.13. Commissioned on 28.03.14.

The thirteenth vessel, "Lady Leyla" (construction No. 02013), was laid down on 02.04.13. Launch took place on 08.05.14. Commissioned on 24.06.14.

The fourteenth vessel, "Lady Sevda" (construction No. 02014), was laid down on 15.04.13. Launch took place on 12.09.14. Commissioned on 30.09.14.

The fifteenth vessel, Synergy 1 (building No. 02015), was laid down on 09.06.14. Launched on 17.04.15. Commissioned on 02.06.15.

The sixteenth vessel, Synergy 2 (building No. 02016), was laid down on 23.06.14. Launched on 08.05.15. Commissioned on 13.06.15.

The seventeenth vessel, Victoria, (construction No. 02017) was laid down on 25.12.14. Launch took place on 10.09.15. Commissioned on 30.09.15.

The eighteenth vessel, Balt-Flot 11 (construction No. 02018), was laid down on 25.09.15. Launch took place on 25.03.16. Commissioned on 11.05.16.

The nineteenth vessel, Balt-Flot 12 (construction No. 02019), was laid down on 20.11.15. The launch took place on 11.05.16. Commissioned on 07.07.16.

The twentieth vessel "Ganja" (construction No. 02020) was laid down on 23.12.15. The launch took place on 19.08.16. Commissioned on 19.10.16.

The twenty-first vessel (construction No. 02021) was laid down on 15.04.16.

The twenty-second vessel (construction No. 02023) was laid down on 31.05.16.

The twenty-third vessel (construction No. 02024) was laid down on 28.07.16.

The twenty-fourth vessel (construction No. 02022)was laid down on 25.01.17.

The Krasnoye Sormovo plant also signed a contract with the Pola Rise company for the construction of 5 dry cargo vessels of the RSD59 project.

The customer will receive all five vessels in 2018. Their construction will begin this year.

The RSD59 project dry cargo ships are designed to transport general and bulk cargo (including grain), packaged lumber and round timber, scrap metal, bundled and rolled metal, international containers, large-sized, long and heavy cargo, coal and dangerous goods of classes 1.4S, 2, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9 in accordance with the "International Convention on the Transport of Dangerous Goods".

The RSD59 project dry cargo ships have no analogues among the ships of their class and have not been built before at the shipyards of the Russian Federation.

Project RSD59 is a self-propelled dry cargo single-deck vessel with two cargo holds, with two full-turning steerable thrusters, mixed "river/sea" navigation with a deadweight of approx. 5100 / 7450 tons (river / sea) of the "Volgo-Dont max" class. The length of the vessel is 141 m; the width is 16.9 m; the estimated draft is 3.6 m in the river / 4.5 m in the sea. Vessel class KM (*) Ice2 R2 AUT1-ICS. The vessel is designed for transportation of bulk cargo including grain, coal, fertilizers, metal, paper rolls, timber, large-sized and heavy-lift packaged cargo with specific pressure of no more than 10 t/m2.

Pola Rise has also ordered a series of 5 such dry cargo vessels from Nevsky Ship Repair and Shipbuilding Plant.

The developer of both projects is the Marine Engineering Bureau.

The customer for both projects is the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK).

We remind you that the Krasnoye Sormovo plant's portfolio currently includes orders for the construction of three RST27 tankers, as well as a PV-300 cruise liner.

Thus, in 2017-2018, the shipyard will be busy with the construction of 14 civilian vessels.
