On March 2, at the Arctech Helsinki Shipyard (100% of the shipyard shares belong to the United Shipbuilding Corporation), after successful completion of trials, the acceptance certificate for the supply vessel for production platforms Gennady Nevelskoy of the Aker ARC 121 project was signed.
The vessel with the factory number 511 was laid down in Helsinki on December 17, 2015, and was launched on June 30, 2016. Gennady Nevelskoy is the first of four ice-class vessels being built by order of the Russian shipping company Sovcomflot for work within the framework of the Sakhalin-2 project.
