Kerch Zaliv is building the third motor ship of the A145 project

The Kerch Shipyard "Zaliv" is building a high-speed luxury passenger ship of Project A145, which may connect Crimea with mainland Russia within the framework of transport communications.

The ship is designed for 12 passengers and can spend up to 24 hours in autonomous navigation. According to the project, the ship will have a conference room for 10 people, double cabins with all amenities, a kitchen, a bar, a sauna, satellite TV, WI-FI. The deck will have a recreation area for passengers.

The plant began construction of the vessel a year ago to demonstrate that the enterprise is capable of creating high-speed vessels for transportation and short-distance cruise services. The hull of the ship is ready today. However, according to the director of Zaliv, Andrey Zherdev, the completion of construction depends on the government's decision. The plant, in turn, is ready to compete for a government order for the production of passenger ships that will provide maritime transport links between Crimea and the mainland with its main competitor, the Zvezda shipyard. in Primorsky Krai.

Already in June of this year, the company plans to launch two high-speed motor ships of the "economy" class.

— Currently, the fleet of ships in Crimea is not capable of providing the existing passenger flow, says the general director of the Zaliv plant, Andrey Zherdev, the republic's need for vessels of this class is at least 20 units, and our enterprise is ready to put two ships on the line by June, and build six more during the next year.

The plant's production capabilities, personnel and technical potential allow us to fulfill this order at the highest level.

It is also worth noting that one of the undoubted advantages of implementing this project will be that the construction of ships is planned to be carried out in close cooperation with other enterprises of Crimea (the More and Fiolent plants), which will contribute to the overall capacity utilization, the creation of new jobs and the development of production potential.
