The Kerch Marine Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a new multi-purpose fire and rescue boat "Dmitry Mikhailik". This is the lead boat of the KS-951 project, built by the Kostroma Shipyard.

The boat is designed to perform search, emergency rescue, patrol and inspection operations and service and patrol functions in the inland waters and territorial seas of the Russian Federation.

On April 7, 2017, a new high-speed boat Rib of the combined type ARTIC-1200 of Marine Pro Metal Boats LLC was accepted into the emergency rescue fleet of the Primorsky branch of the Federal Budgetary Institution “Morrespass Service of Rosmorrechflot” (St. Petersburg).

The small vessel has two water-jet engines, with a capacity of 215 kW each, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of up to 35 knots.

The boat is planned to be used for search and rescue operations, as well as for oil spill response.

On April 7, on the Yenisei embankment in Krasnoyarsk, police officers ceremoniously launched a new high-speed boat of the Inter-Municipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Krasnoyarskoe".

The "Corvette-750A" boat, manufactured by Astron-Marine (St. Petersburg), is equipped with flashing beacons, a loudspeaker, and a siren. The boat's crew consists of three people who have completed a training course in operating a high-speed small vessel. The boat is equipped with rescue and first aid equipment.

In the summer, the main tasks of law enforcement officers on the water are to maintain public order in recreation areas of Krasnoyarsk residents on the banks of the Yenisei River, patrol the river water area during city mass events, prevent illegal actions of citizens on the water, and swimming in prohibited areas. In addition, the crew of the watercraft is included in the system of unified deployment of outfits and will directly interact with police officers serving on the streets of the city.

"The main functions of this squad are to prevent accidents and, first of all, to save people's lives," noted the head of the city police Gennady Berezina.

Christyhovercraft Company (St. Petersburg) has started production of a new model of the Christy-8205FC amphibious air cushion vehicle.

This amphibious vehicle complements the new line Christy 2017 models: CHRISTY-458, CHRISTY-5143, CHRISTY-7183, CHRISTY-8183, CHRISTY-9205.

The company also developed another hovercraft Christy-460 (2017 model year), which became an evolutionary continuation of the Christy model-458.

A distinctive feature of this model is the power plant based on the Vanguard 37 hp EFI engine (injector), adapted to operation in severe climatic conditions with a significant resource, which gives it a considerable advantage and a margin of safety in extreme conditions.

Due to the incredible demand for these engines in America, where they are used to equip extreme equipment, including hovercraft, aerobots and a unique line of mud engines, these engines became available in Europe and Russia only in the spring of 2017. We are the first to successfully use these engines on Christy hovercraft in Russia.

With its amphibious capabilities, the Christy-460 hovercraft moves with ease over various types of surfaces, including sand, dumps, moved soil, frozen ground. The vessel successfully overcomes obstacles in the form of crushed ice, slush and wet snow on its way and confidently takes off with a full load from the water surface.

OOO "Samara Shipyard" (Samara) built the water taxi "Samaraets" of the Amadeus 820 T "Samara" project. The vessel was sent to Samara.

The boat is designed specifically for passenger and cargo transportation on the river, entry to the vessel is possible both from the bow and from the stern. In the optional design, the boat can be equipped with a gangway. The boat has a comfortable saloon with a good view and a stove, designed for 12 passengers. Folding seats and a flat floor make it convenient to transport large-sized cargo.

The boat is equipped with a high-capacity gas tank, self-draining front and rear cockpits. The bow of the bottom is additionally reinforced for multiple moorings, and the keel line is reinforced with a protective pipe.
