Today, the chemical tanker Balt Fleet 19 of the RTS27M project, which is being built for the shipping company BF Tanker, was launched at the Krasnoe Sormovo plant.

This is the fourth vessel of the RST27M prototype. In total, the contract provides for the construction of five chemical tankers of the RST27M project for the BF Tanker company.
Trilateral contracts for the construction of five chemical tankers of the RST27M project between the Krasnoe Sormovo plant, the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLC) and the Tanker Shipyard LLC were signed at the end of 2016.
Chemical tankers of the new RST27M project are vessels of the upgraded RST27 project. In comparison with RST27, the cargo capacity of chemical tankers of the new project has been increased by more than 800 tons, and 6 tanks have the ability to transport up to three types of cargo in one flight: oil and petroleum products, as well as harmful liquid bulk substances.
Vessel length -140.8 m; width -16.9 m; estimated draft - 3.6 m in the river/4.6 m in the sea.
Vessel class: KM Ice1 1 R2 AUT1-ICS OMBO VCS ECO-S Oil tanker/Chemical tanker type 2 (ESP).
The project was developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau. The working design was carried out by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau.
The lead vessel of the RST27M Balt Fleet 16 project (building no.02022) was laid down on 25.01.17. Launched on 21.07.17. Commissioned on 06.09.17.
The second vessel "Balt Fleet 17" (building no.02025) was laid down on 03/15/17. Launched on 09/08/17. Commissioned on 10/13/17.
The third vessel, Balt Fleet 18 (building no.02026), was laid down on 04/25/17. Launched on 10/23/17. Commissioned on 11/28/17.
The fourth vessel, Balt Fleet 19 (building no.02027), was laid down on 06/27/17 and launched on 12/22/17.
The fifth vessel, Balt Fleet 20 (building no.02028), was laid down on 08/18/17.
