The resumption of regular cruise shipping on the Black Sea has led to increased efforts to create a port infrastructure that meets modern requirements. Sochi's passenger seaport underwent a comprehensive renovation before the Olympics, and now it's Novorossiysk's turn.
The reconstruction project developed by LENMORNIIPROEKT, commissioned by FSUE Rosmorport, provides for the extension of passenger berth No. 34 from 209 to 288 meters, and berth No. 34Afrom 70 to 149 meters. During the reconstruction, work is underway to strengthen the bearing capacity of the pile foundation of the berths, equip them with new breakers and mooring devices, as well as the necessary engineering infrastructure and navigation equipment.

After the reconstruction is completed, cruise ships with a draft of 6 meters will be able to dock at Pier 34A, and at Pier 34 with a draft of up to 9 meters.
Let me remind you that a cruise ship has been operating on the Black Sea since last year. Prince Vladimir, and in a couple of years a cruise ship will be added to him Peter the Great, currently under construction at the Lotus GCC.
