Akhtuba SSRZ built a batoport for the modernization of the Crimean Sevmorzavod

On October 31, 2018, a new batoport built on the stocks of the Akhtuba Shipyard (Astrakhan Region) was delivered to the Sevmorzavod (Sevastopol, Crimea).

The work was carried out as part of the modernization of the production facilities of the Sevastopol Marine Plant Branch of JSC Zvezdochka CS under the Federal Target Program.

The repair floating slide gate was delivered in a complex with a fish protection device from the Volga by two tugboats.

The bathport is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2018.

The new batoport is designed to block the entrance to the dry dock during ship and ship repairs.

The weight of the hydraulic structure without ballast is approximately 170 tons, length is 27.5 meters, height is 10.5 meters.

The work on the manufacture of the batoport lasted 7 months.
