Oka shipyard laid the keel of the penultimate dry cargo ship of the RSD32M project

On February 15, 2019 at the Oka Shipyard (Navashino, Nizhny Novgorod region) The keel of the seventh dry cargo ship of the RSD32M project was laid. This is reported by the company's press service.

A total of eight vessels of this project have been ordered. The current cargo ship became the seventh.

The construction is being carried out by the order of PJSC GTLC and LLC NAVIS 1. The relevant shipbuilding contract was signed on November 30, 2017.

The main purpose of the vessel is to transport general and bulk cargo, including grain, packaged lumber, roundwood, scrap metal, metal in bundles and rolls, bulky and heavy cargo, coal, dangerous goods of the class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9 in accordance with the RID Code and goods of category B from the IPNG Code.

The maximum length is about 123 m. Overall width is 16.72 m. Side height is 5.5 m.
