The concern "Morinformsistema-Agat," part of the "Marine Instrumentation Corporation" (KMP), presented an experimental model of the unmanned boat (UB) "Labyrinth" at the "NEVA 2023" exhibition. This marks the first time the boat has been showcased in St. Petersburg, as the company told a Sudostroenie.info correspondent. Although the new model was previously seen at the "Army-2023" forum in Moscow, it is being exhibited for the first time in this city.
"Labyrinth" is a highly unsinkable vessel designed for use in large bodies of water, rivers, and coastal marine areas. The boat is equipped with an advanced robotic system that allows it to operate in both autonomous mode (automatic) and operator-controlled mode (remote-controlled).
The unmanned boat "Labyrinth" can be used for patrolling marine terminal waters, oil depots, gas storage facilities, coal transshipment points, and fish farming areas. It is also suitable for environmental monitoring, border control, and detecting leaks and pollution.
The "NEVA 2023" exhibition, taking place from September 18 to 21, 2023, in St. Petersburg, is a major event in the field of civil shipbuilding and the maritime industry. The Sudostroenie.info portal is an information partner of the event.
