On March 28, 2023, FSUE "Rosmorport" announced the creation of the North-Eastern Basin Branch, which resulted from the reorganization that included the merger of the liquidated branches of Anadyr and Magadan with the Vanino branch. This strategic decision reflects the company's efforts to improve its organizational structure and enhance operational efficiency in the Far East.
According to the press release from the company, changes were made to the charter of FSUE "Rosmorport" in accordance with the order from Rosmorrechflot dated March 20, 2023. As a result, the company now manages 12 branches operating across 24 regions of the Russian Federation.
The North-Eastern Basin Branch is a separate structural unit, which includes the Anadyr and Magadan managements. It is not a legal entity but operates on behalf of FSUE "Rosmorport" at several key seaports, including Anadyr, Beringovsky, Vanino, De-Kastri, Magadan, Cape Lazarev, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Okhotsk, Pevek, Provideniya, Sovietskaya Gavan, and Egvekinot.
The regulation on the branch was approved on March 23, 2023, and continues to support the strategic expansion and operational effectiveness of the company. These changes contribute to strengthening FSUE "Rosmorport's" position in the maritime transport sector and port management in the eastern part of Russia.
