In the first seven months of 2022, the cargo turnover at the transshipment complex of the Murmansk Sea Fish Port (MMFP) reached 181 thousand tons, marking a 39.9% increase compared to the same period last year, reports the port's press service.
In the fish products category, the transshipment volume amounted to 136 thousand tons, which is 21.3% higher than last year's result of 112.1 thousand tons.
The increase in turnover is attributed to several key factors, with the main one being strict adherence to high-efficiency standards for handling arriving vessels. "We are focused on continuously improving all processes, from increasing the speed of loading and unloading operations to optimizing resources like electricity and water supply. We are confident that the growth will continue in the future," noted Eduard Malashenko, head of the MMFP transshipment complex.
