Novatek Increases Gas Sales Volume by 0.3% in 2021

Novatek reported a total gas sales volume of 75.81 billion cubic meters in 2021, including natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), marking a 0.3% increase compared to 2020. This was announced by the company's press service.

Key Gas Sales Figures:

• Domestic sales in Russia reached 67.87 billion cubic meters, up by 1.8% compared to 2020.

• LNG sales on international markets amounted to 7.94 billion cubic meters, down by 11.1% from the previous year.

The decrease in LNG sales on international markets is attributed to the increased share of long-term contract sales through the Yamal LNG project, with a corresponding reduction in spot market sales.

Production Achievements:

• In 2021, the company’s hydrocarbon production totaled 626 million barrels of oil equivalent, which is 2.9% higher than in 2020.
