NCSP Group (part of Transneft Group) reports a 2.9% year-on-year growth in consolidated cargo turnover, which reached 95.5 million tonnes for the period January–October 2021, according to the company’s press service.
Liquid cargo remains the Group’s core business, with a total volume of 76.1 million tonnes, marking an increase of 2.3 million tonnes or 3.2% compared to the same period in 2020. Major contributors include:
Oil products: up 2 million tonnes (+7.4%)
Crude oil: up 0.4 million tonnes (+0.9%)
Dry cargo turnover amounted to 19.3 million tonnes, up 2.1% year-on-year. The strongest performers were:
Container traffic: +6.8%
Raw sugar: increased 11.5 times
Chemical cargo: +65.4%
Perishables: +78.7%
