FESCO Transportation Group has reinforced its cabotage service FESCO Korsakov Direct Line (FKDL), operating between Vladivostok and the port of Korsakov (Sakhalin Island), by adding a new vessel to the route. The container ship FESCO Yanina has completed its maiden voyage and set a record as the largest vessel ever handled at the port of Korsakov.
Key Features of FESCO Yanina:
The introduction of this vessel enhances the carrying capacity of the route and ensures more stable deliveries to Sakhalin, particularly during periods of increased construction and seasonal demand.
Fleet Expansion FESCO Yanina joins the existing FKDL fleet, which includes the container vessels FESCO Novik and FESCO Navarin. The addition will help streamline sailing schedules and reduce logistics costs for shippers.
Cargo Volumes According to FESCO’s operational data, over 27,500 TEU of cargo was delivered to Sakhalin by the company’s vessels between January and October 2021. The fleet expansion highlights FESCO’s commitment to strengthening regional connectivity and enhancing domestic coastal logistics infrastructure.
