The bulk carrier Pola Pelagia was launched at the Krasnoe Sormovo plant

The Krasnoe Sormovo plant (part of the USC) launched a bulk carrier of the RSD59 Paul Pelagia project. The vessel was built for the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) as part of a series of 11 bulk carriers.

"For us, every descent is the completion of another stage," says Mikhail Pershin, General Director of the Krasnoe Sormovo plant. Pola Pelagia is already the second ship in this series. The ship's readiness is about 85%. This year we plan to launch another similar cargo ship. The remainder of the order will be transferred to next year.

Mikhail Pershin added that after launching, the new bulk carrier of the RSD59 Pola Pelagia project will go on sea trials and mooring tests, and in October the vessel will be handed over to the customer.
