On October 16, the Baltic Shipyard underwent a re-mooring operation for the first serial universal nuclear icebreaker Siberia of project 22220. The nuclear-powered vessel took its place at the seventh berth of the completion embankment, the press service of the shipyard reported.
A series of universal nuclear icebreakers of project 22220 is being built at the Baltic Shipyard by order of FSUE Atomflot. The transfer of the lead icebreaker "Arctic" to the customer is scheduled for October 21, 2020.
