Pneumatic Mooring Fenders - TransTechnology Company

The fender is designed to cushion the impact of ships' sides during mooring and joint parking of moored vessels during cargo handling operations in open sea conditions at ambient air temperatures from minus 30 to plus 45°C and sea swell up to 7 points. During mooring operations, the fender remains floating in a suspended state between the sides of the mooring vessels.

Pneumatic mooring fenders consist of a rubber-fabric shell of cylindrical shape with spherical ends, which have openings hermetically sealed with metal covers, along with components for filling the fender with air and securing it.

The structure of the fender shell wall consists of a power frame made up of layers of nylon cord, an inner and outer sealing rubber layer.
