All fendering systems use one or more pairs of energy-absorbing elements and a front panel. The panel is a structural component of the fender system that is directly attached to the ME elements and easily handles constant loads.
The UHMW-PE coating is very gentle on vessels. It adapts to the shape of the hull, leaving no marks on the paint. UHMW-PE has very low friction, which reduces the load on the fender and its mountings.
